Happy Birthday, Ashley!

Ashley is one of those girls....you know. The ones who are good at everything?? Cooking, dancing, sports, crafts (don't deny it, Ashley), school, ....everything they try they are good at. Oh, and not to mention, she is beautiful. Inside and out. She and my brother Matt are a perfect match. They have been dating for a year and a half....

We couldn't be happier to have her "in" our family. She is so sweet to all of the grandkids and always makes such an effort to support them and us in whatever we are doing. Never misses a birthday-or an event.

Ashley is really fun too. She is really a go with the flow kind of girl. I love that because, well, it's like me! But she can also be pretty intense with the things that she loves to do. It has been so fun to have her at the girls dance studio this year. She is an amazing dancer and instructor.

Here is a short walk down memory lane with some of my favorite pics.
Love you, Schley! Hope you have an amazing b-day today!!

This is a picture of Ashley the first day we met her-at one of Matt's football games. Their first date if you will. :)

The big 8...

Happy Birthday today to our sweet Parker!

I don't know how it's happened, but the time is flying by way too quickly. How proud of you we are and we are so looking forward to celebrating your baptism day with you next weekend.
Hope you have a magical day.
Love always,
Mom and Dad

Hitting the Hill

Over Christmas break we had the chance to use one of our new gifts from Mom and Dad Landon. They got us a great new sled! We all bundled up and headed to Freeman park to try them out. It was a perfect day. Not too cold, just enough new snow, and lots of family there. We had a blast, and all the kids can talk about now is going again. The girls also got to model all of their new snow gear they got for Christmas. It was a great day.

How I love this girl of mine....

Today my friend Kara took some pictures of Parker for her baptism announcements. She did such an amazing job. I really don't know how I'm going to choose which pictures to use. She has only posted these few on her blog (and I stole them). She spent a good hour with her-so I know there are going to be many many to choose from.
Her special day is coming up soon. The first weekend in February to be exact.
I can't believe she's old enough to be taking this huge step. I am so proud of her and her decision to be baptized. She is such a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend. I love her very much. (Her dad loves her a whole bunch too, but I just happen to be the one writing, so I get to say I. I love her.)
Here is a sneak peek at just a few of the pictures.

It's Too Small!

This is what you get when your son decides to empty out the bucket of clothes that he's grown out of to pick out a jacket.

He hid behind the corner for about 10 minutes trying to get it off before he emerged down the hallway saying, "It's too small!"

I had to laugh. And then help him peel it off.

Happy New Year! 2010!!

We had a great New Year's Eve. Here it is in random pictures.

We had saved a gingerbread house for the kids to make. They had a blast. And you can see in the background, we had a ton of good food too. Playing games and just hanging out. Only Pacie didn't make it to the ball drop. Everyone else was there to ring in 2010.

At midnight. Pacie asleep and the little three partying it up!

Parker showing the big 10 fingers at midnight for 2010!
Couples.....:)

Played a little dress up as well.
