Thanksgiving 2007

How grateful I am for this time of year. As always, we have much to be thankful for. We tok our traditional trip to Mesquite so Scott could hit the Thanksgiving race. We usually head to Vegas for a couple of days, have Thanksgiving dinner at the Rio Buffet-(yes the traditional stuff, but also a lot of whatever else you want...sushi for some, crab legs, BBQ ribs...you name it they have it, cheese pizza for the kids too!) A little shopping at the Outlets as well as a walk through Bellagio's always gorgeous Thanksgiving decor makes the trip complete. Then it's off to Mesquite to watch Daddy race. This year had a few more hiccups than normal. Scott and Robbie (his younger brother) both went down in the first race of the day-thankfully with only minor injuries, although Scott's bicep now carries several tire marks from being hit by about three different riders. (Robbie was hauled away in the ambulance...never fun but thankfully he was okay.) We topped off the trip with a trip to the Pizza Factory in Cedar City and then made our way home. Overall, a great weekend spent with both sides of the family.

Hey Jill! So fun to see your page. It sounds like you guys had such a fun Thanksgiving Break. I am glad that everyone was safe from the racing. It is really fun for Sadie to see pictures of your kids. Especially Parker and Pacie. Tell them hi from her.
Love you
Jenn

I love your blog! We were in Mesquite also for a few days. I saw all the trucks with bikes and wondered if you might be there too!

Seriously! I guess you're used to it by now, but I would have a heart attack if I saw even one (let alone multiple) bikes run over my husband. Glad everyone is okay. Such a beautiful family.
